Sharon Bond
Director of Chiron
DSys. Psych. MSc. Systemic Psychotherapy, BSc.(Hons) Sociology, CQSW
Sharon qualified as a Social Worker in the mid-eighties, She worked in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in Hackney and qualified as a Systemic and Family Psychotherapist at Kensington Consultation Centre (KCC) in 1993. Sharon taught systemic theory and practice on the foundation year course at the Tavistock & Portman NHS Trust for 13 years and the intermediate year at the Institute of Family Therapy (IFT) for 9 years. Until recently she was clinical supervisor on the Tavistock MSc course and continues to be a research supervisor for students on the IFT MSc course. Sharon founded Chiron Consultation & Therapy Services in 1997. Chiron Training was established in 2011. Her working week is divided between training supervising, being a consultant and offering therapy to individuals, families and couples.
Kerri Newns
Course Tutor
MSc. Systemic Psychotherapy, Post-graduate Diploma Systemic Teaching & Supervision, BA (Hons)
Kerri currently works as a Systemic Family Psychotherapist, Supervisor and Trainer; she has worked in the NHS for fourteen years, and has a post graduate qualification in Management in Health and Social Care. Her private practice is in South East London where she grew up, and now also works for Greenwich Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, Oxleas NHS Trust. Kerri is also a tutor at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust where she teaches on the post graduate systemic training programme. She has a professional background in Drama and Dance and integrates the expressive arts into her therapeutic practice and training.
Nadya Jones
Administrator
Nadya has recently joined Chiron as our Administrator. With over 20 years experience as an Administrator, Project and Event Manager for various organisations including the BRITs Trust, SOAS, and Ballistic Events, Nadya will be the link between students and tutors providing information, assistance and support.
